Yoga means to connect. Connect breath to movement, inhales to exhales, mind, body, and spirit, thoughts and actions, connect to your heart and your greatest needs. Yoga is so much more than just the poses.

I started yoga 15 years ago when I was recovering from a knee injury and thought yoga would help me regain range of motion.  I got a little of that, along with a whole lot more. I found balance in muscle action to enhance my sports and strength in poses, but more importantly, stillness within the poses that has led to greater compassion, kindness, and desire to help myself and others thrive.
